Hi, and welcome! My name is Ann, and I'm a therapist who works with older teens and adults facing major transitions, grief and loss, and/or changes in mood. Additionally, I specialize in supporting goal-driven clients who push themselves to excel while quietly experiencing perfectionism, burnout, and a tough inner critic. I also work with folks in recovery from substance use who are learning new ways to express their emotions, trust their intuition, and build meaningful relationships.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin in 2021. I have experience working with teens and dual-diagnosis adults in intensive outpatient (IOP) settings. Though I often take an eclectic approach to my work, I provide Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT) to teens and adults who are highly conscientious and experience over-controlled coping. As someone who is wired that way, this modality deeply resonates with me. I love art and all things creative; drawing is always welcome in our sessions, but never required.

Areas of Focus
Working side by side is my greatest priority. You are the expert of your story. I’ll be here to ask questions, offer new approaches, and reflect what I’m noticing. I'll lean on our client-therapist dynamic to learn more about what serves you in your relationships. I'll support you with identifying your core values to help you feel like yourself again. I'll also use a narrative perspective to name any outdated stories you might be carrying, and cheer you on as you write the next chapter of your life.
In our first session, you can expect a collaborative, thoughtful conversation. We’ll talk about what brings you in, reflect on your past experiences with seeking support, and begin making sense of the patterns that keep you stuck. There’s no pressure to share everything right away. We’ll go at a pace that feels manageable.
In my free time, you'll likely find me doing something creative. My latest endeavor was filmmaking through local public access stations, and I’m planning to try pottery next.
