Jillian Davis, LCSW

Jennifer

Background

Hi there! My name is Jillian Davis and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Texas Christian University and then moved to Portland, Oregon for 7 years. While there I worked at a community based outpatient program and had the opportunity to work with adolescents and young adults and support them in the challenges that come with transitioning into adulthood. I have worked with individuals who have experienced complex trauma, depression, anxiety, houselessness, and motherhood transitions.

You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.

My Approach

I am grounded in a client-centered and strengths-based approach to help you set goals and create tools to live a happy and fulfilling life. My goal is to empower and support you in taking the drivers' seat in your therapy journey. I utilize a strengths based approach by identifying and pulling from your strengths and current ways of coping while validating your challenges. I will draw from treatment modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and mindfulness techniques. I will approach our meetings with empathy, humor, and respect. I aim to create a welcoming and safe environment for people from all spiritual, cultural and religious backgrounds, gender identities, and sexual orientations.
